In this data protection declaration, users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.

Collection of General Information

Every time you access information offered on this page about services, company information and current contributions to the topic of information security, we or the web space provider automatically collect information (also known as server log files).

These include, among other things: name of the website, file, date, amount of data, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the IP address.

Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the content of the website. In this respect, the collection of the data is imperative. We also use this information for statistical purposes. They help us to optimize the offer and the technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files in the event of suspected illegal use of our offer.

Integration of Services and Content from Third Parties

Our web service sometimes includes content, services and deliverables from other providers. These are, for example, videos or graphics and images from other websites. So that this data can be called up and displayed in the user’s browser, the transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the respective user.

Even if we endeavor to use only third-party providers who only need the IP address in order to be able to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address or other information about you may be saved by them. If we are aware that the IP address is stored, we will inform our users.

Principle of Data Economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary or as prescribed by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the information collected no longer applies or the storage period ends, we will block or delete the data.

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection (see European General Data Protection Regulation, Articles 12-23). Exceptions: It is the mandatory data storage for business transactions or the data are subject to the statutory retention obligation.

For these purposes, please contact dataprivacy (at) kemetmüller (dot) com.

In order to be able to take a data lock into account at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a lock file for control purposes. If there is no statutory archiving obligation, you can also request that the data be deleted. Otherwise, we will block the data if you so wish.

We reserve the right to make changes at any time to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with current legal requirements. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adapted due to new or revised services, for example new services.
