China: Technosphere tracks Beijing exporting military AI alongside the civilian showcase. A Norinco Group subsidiary exhibited what it called embodied-AI products, reportedly including armed quadruped robots, at China’s 2026 World AI Conference, and in the days before the event China and Nigeria formalized an “AI-driven defense partnership” bundling technology transfer with military modernization. The robot dogs are apparently now part of the sales pitch.
